
The genus Paecilomyces may be distinguished from the closely related genus Penicillium by having long slender divergent phialides and colonies that are never typically green. Colonies are fast growing, powdery or suede-like, gold, green-gold, yellow-brown, lilac or tan, but never green or blue-green as in Penicillium.
The product is offered as a white free flowing powder with an earthy smell. The colony forming units (CFU) count is more than 1*10^6 Colony Forming Units CFUs)/g. The specifications are as under,

Paecilomyces spp is recommended for use on a variety of crops such as Potato, Flowers, Banana, Orchards, Vegetables.etc for the control of Nematodes. The recommended dosage rate is 2- 5 Kg per acre as soil application with compost.
